高中阶段教育分享讲座上周日,学校举行了主题为《怎样在高中阶段培养国际化人才》的教育分享讲座,我校执行校长黄雪锋先生在线介绍了从初中到高中每一个阶段的策略,包括从体制内转到国际课程的衔接问题、9-12年级每个年级的学业规划。本次讲座总计有700余人在线上参加,观众纷纷留言表示“学习了”。将现代化教育理念传播至更多家庭,是华师双语不变的初心,我们也期待更多优秀学生走进华师双语。

高中学生走进上海时装周后台 向设计之梦更近一步10.7-10.16是2019上海春夏时装周,在这一周中,我去参加了四天的活动以一个志愿者工作人员的身份。从最初的品牌出成衣、到找模特试衣、拍定装照,再到彩排、布置秀场,到最后的正式发布,是一个漫长但是充实的过程。我一共参与了两个品牌的时装秀,一个是deepmoss,致力于通过抽离于时间的设计构建出一个梦境世界,另一个是C.J.YAO,一个不循规蹈矩的时尚品牌。 deepmoss是一个具有温柔蓬勃的生命力的品牌,在参与衣服整理模特试衣的过程中,感受到了设计师对于每一个服装细节的把控,也看到了衣服的张力和她想表达的东西。秀场的前期准备也是一个十分重要并繁忙的过程,模特的挑选是否与品牌气质相符,试装效果,饰品调整,鞋子调换等都是不可遗漏的细节。试衣当天,这个品牌挑选了大约十七个模特,而当中有的模特有两三套衣服,所以我们需要将模特的时间安排的合理,留一些时间让模特能换衣服。当天试装后,我们将所有的定装图确认好并将其和衣服对应运到秀场。当天晚上大约22:00开始彩排,我们在后台将所有的衣服按照顺序排好,不然极有可能导致换装时间不够,从而影响最终的秀。 正式发布的那天,为了确保秀成功结束,我们便留在后台盯妆发、服装确保一切都与品牌风格相符,从而达到更好的效果。对于任何一个品牌而言,正式发布非常重要,所以虽然正式的秀只有30分钟,但是在这个过程中,我感受到了为了这一场秀设计师所付出的巨大的努力,虽然累但是很充实。 在C.J.YAO的秀中,也看到了设计师独具一格的思考与能展现她自己的风格。两场秀虽然都很繁忙,但是亲自接触参与一场秀的过程与单单画些设计稿是不一样的,让我更了解服装设计这个领域,也是一次非常值得纪念的经历。10.7 to 10.16 is 2019 Spring and Summer Shanghai Fashion Week, during the week, I attended four days activity as a helper/ a staff. 华师双语高中视觉艺术展“夏天后”夏天后--是华师双语IBDP视觉艺术方向学生的群体艺术展。这个暑假,他们都完成了一件到两件艺术作品。在第一年紧张的学习后,同学们都更熟悉了创作的方法,可以通过作品来更成熟表达自己的概念。他们准备好在未来进去大学更好的实现自己的艺术梦想,也准备好了即将到来的IB艺术科目的考试。让我们祝他们好运!Coexistence, Judy ZhuTondo, waste silk ribbon, woven bag, rubber water tube, hemp rope我们都知道环境问题很严重,我相信最好的方法就是和我们制造的浪费和平共处。这个装置表现了自然和废物之间的关系,我想借此模仿自然界和人类社会的平衡方式。根状物质接触地面随风摆动,树枝没有叶子,给人平静和谐的感觉。我猜测我们下一辈人的生活可能就是这样的状态。New life, Judy ZhuCanvas, Oil painting, Oxygen mask, Plants我开始担心未来一代的生活,新生儿都活在污染中,出生率也降低。这一悲剧的原因就是污染带来的灾难。植物数量减少,氧气也几乎没有,氧气罩让我们直观看到这些生存必备元素的消逝。我们不可缺少氧气罩,自然也是人类赖以生存的空间。Beauty Beauty Beauty, Charlotte DaiPainting, mixed-media这个时代,有很多人得了厌食症这种病,因为他们想变得漂亮和更有魅力。大多数人都想在这个时代成为一个美人,而且他们不在乎花多少钱。这三幅作品展示了三种不同的变美的方式。第一个病人总是为了减肥而节食。虽然有朋友要求他们吃东西来保持健康,但他们会拒绝并把嘴缝上。第二幅画代表的是多姿多彩的画。与厚厚的清漆混合的色调象征着运动后的眩晕感和脂肪的融化。第三个是厌食症患者的样子,尽管她不能意识到她病态的瘦,蓝色传达病人孤独的感觉。Rabbit beauty, Charlotte Daivideo这个视频代表厌食症患者的生活方式。兔子的符号是我视频中的一个重要元素。兔子的发音和汉语中的“呕吐”一样,所以我们通常把厌食的人叫做“兔子”。然而,美丽的兔子是嘲笑“健康的方式”:呕吐,厌食症患者。当他们呕吐时,“健康”这个词就从健康的袋子里消失了,他们只有在呕吐之后才会感到满意。Two sides, Cathy Xusculpture, petals

“半途”艺术展开幕 专业嘉宾莅临点评4月28日,华师双语艺术部举办了“半途”艺术展的开幕式。这个艺术展是由高中部学生创作的,展示了他们就读IB国际文凭课程在视觉艺术课上制作的一些艺术作品。此次展览还特别邀请了来自香港耀中国际学校的艺术老师,JacquesThomass,作为点评嘉宾。他来到三楼艺术展厅和学生们一起交流他们的作品,并给每一位学生提供了一些创作的建议。龚德辉校长、学校师生和参展学生家长,也出席了这次展览。JacquesThomassJacquesThomass是香港耀中国际学校艺术部总监。他有超过13年的IB和IGCSE课程的教学经验,也是IB国际文凭视觉艺术考官。JacquesThomass老师来到华师双语一个一个和DP1的学生交流,学生们也一一向考官讲述了他们的创作。他们介绍了自己的创作主题,各自探索的内容,以及他们为什么这样做,又是怎么去做作品的。JacquesThomass老师听的非常认真,也问了一些具体问题,以此挖掘学生对作品的思考。接着,JacquesThomass老师深入和学生沟通了学习这门课程的一些建议,和仍然需要改进的内容,也为下一次IB的考试做好准备。他也称赞了学生们的作品,鼓励他们继续创作。为了支持我们华师双语的小艺术家们,艺术部特别举办这次展览,邀请了参展学生的家长,龚校长也来鼓励我们的学生。展览过程,创作者也逐渐熟悉艺术的每一个过程,包括如何与观众沟通他们的概念,也能更好提高他们作品的传达度。

在KUKA与机器人“沟通”五月四日在一场紧张的数学IGCSE考试过后,接踵而至的便是面向KUKA机器人公司的一次参观。稍作休整与整理之后,大家便携带行囊,踏上了通往目的地的大巴。KUKA公司于1898年在奥格斯堡创立。100多年以来,秉承着一贯的理念和创新。如今,更是成为机器人技术以及设备与系统技术领域的领先供应商之一。一个小时的车程在同学们满怀期待的心情中似乎变得不那么长,随着KUKA公司的轮廓渐渐清晰明了,大巴也缓缓地停在了公司的大门口。怀着强烈的好奇心,大家上下打量着这块地方虽然因为临近下班时间而有些冷清,整个公司仍然显得恢宏大气。一行人在门口稍作等待,终于得以入内。KUKA公司的经理亲自带领大家开始了参观。我们先行来到了一座展厅,不少机器人模型坐落其中,结合一旁按顺序排列的介绍,让大家对KUKA公司的历史与机器人的用途、领域等有了初步的了解。紧接着,经理又带着同学们来到了另一处大厅,大家纷纷落座。前方的大屏幕立刻开始播放短片,从KUKA机器人的制造与运用,再到对于未来机器人前程的美好展望,带领大家从各个不同的方面深切地了解到智能与科技的前景。而后,在对车间的参观中,我们从另一个方向体验到了机器人的制造过程,受益良多。旅途将尽,我们在大门前合影,同时向KUKA献上了“学为日进“的格言,以表自身需不断学习的决心,这次的参观之行在欢笑中圆满结束。

特奥融合活动在华师双语Special Olympic Event at ECNUAS2016年10月21日 10:00 来源:华师双语高中部 2016/10/21 10:00 From High School Department昨日下午,华师双语和嘉定区成佳学校的同学们在华师双语的校园内举行了第一届特奥融合活动。成佳学校是嘉定区智力障碍儿童提供免费义务教育的学校。与成佳学校的整个融合活动分为四个流程,首先是华师双语同学和成佳学校学生的破冰和配对的小活动,接着是活动的开幕式,之后便进入游戏环节,最后是此次活动的重磅环节,一位重量级的神秘嘉宾和同学们见面。大家是不是都迫不及待了?让我们赶紧来看一看! ECNUAS held the very first Special Olympics event with Jiading Chengjia School yesterday afternoon. Chenggjia School provides free compulsory education for the students who have intellectual disability in Jiading District. The event involved four parts in total, which were the partner-finding activity, the opening ceremony, game time and a meeting with a surprise guest. Let’s see!高中部 Pre-DP班的学生和老师Teacher and students from Grade 10中午12:45分左右,成佳学校的同学们到达华师双语,与华师双语的学生们在图书馆会面。两校学生进行破冰小“搭讪”,每一位华师双语的同学寻找一位成佳学校的同学进行配对。一眨眼的功夫,大家都已经配对成功,与小伙伴们一起玩耍啦! About 12:45 at noon, students from Chengjia School had already arrived at the campus of ECNUAS and met with our students at library. At first, they conducted a partner-finding activity during which every participant of our school would find a partner from Chengjia school. Just after a short while, everyone had got partners and made some introductions with each other. 在短暂的预热环节过后,同学们移至体育馆,我们的开幕式马上就开始了!本次开幕式的主持人分别是来自高中部的庄岑霖和周臻同学,他们嘹亮的声音和自信的姿态为我们的特奥融合活动开了一个好头。 After the short warming section, all of us moved to sports hall to attend the opening ceremony. Our host and hostess this time were Hunter Zhuang from G10 and Annie Zhou from G11, and their bright voice and confidence gave a very good beginning of our event!本次开幕式的包含了东亚片区特奥体育部经理钱佳轩女士的讲话。The opening ceremony involved the speech from Jiahan Qian, manager of The East Asia Special Olympics Sports Department. 之后,高中部的苏亦洋、朱可豫、庄岑霖以及梁圣歆同学带来歌曲《Hall of fame》。如这首歌所唱,我们能够成为自己命运的主宰,每个人都有无限的可能。精彩的演唱和伴奏不进活跃了现场的气氛,也带给大家无限正能量! Then came the song ‘Hall of fame’ performed by Nero Su, Judy Zhu, Hunter Zhuang and Vanessa Liang. As the song says, everyone can control his/her own destiny and all of us have the unlimited power. We could see the enthusiasm of all of the students.欢乐的热身运动过后,同学们的身体都活跃了起来,那么我们的游戏正式开始咯!The warm-up exercise made us ready for the following activities, so let’s start the game time. 首先第一个环节叫做“动力小火车”,在这个活动中,两位同学们套在一个呼啦圈里往返接力,看看哪一组是最快!? The first round was called “little train”, in which activity two students got into one hula hoop and run. 精彩的“动力小火车”过后,大家都气喘吁吁了,赶紧来补充一点能量吧!让我们进入下午茶时间休息一下下。我们准备了汉堡、饼干、水果、棒棒糖和乳酸菌供成佳学校的孩子们享用。看!孩子们都吃的津津有味。 Everyone got tired after the exciting game, let’s supplement some energy. Our school prepared delicious hamburgers, cookies, fruits, lollipops and yoghurts for Chengjia school students. It seems they all enjoyed the food!同学们在这短短的接触时间中也结下了深厚的友谊哦!休息的时间都忙着合影留念。We all got familiar with each other during the game, and some students were taking some selfies at the break time.短暂的休息过后,我们迎来游戏的第二个环节,“螃蟹快跑”,两个同学背靠背,把球夹在背后往前跑,非常考验默契哦!看看哪一组最有默契。After the short break, we got into the second round, which was called “crab run” This game tested the teamwork of each pair by asking them nipping the ball at by their backs and run.游戏顺利地进行了下来,看来两个学校的同学们之间很有默契哦!游戏环节就这样结束了!接下来是激动人心的颁奖环节,同学们都按耐不住心中的喜悦和激动了!‘Crab run’ conducted very smoothly, and it seems like students between two schools’ students had very good teamwork!That’s the end of the game part. The following part is awarding time! Some students even couldn’t wait to get the golden medals!我们的颁奖仪式根据成佳学校同学们的年级分别举行,首先是四年级和六年级的同学,其次是七年级同学,最后是八年级和九年级的同学。大家都情不自禁地戴上了金牌。The order of awarding ceremony was according to the age of our Chengjia students. They all couldn’t help themselves to wear golden medals on! 你以为活动就这样结束了?那你就大错特错啦,最后还有一位来自荷兰的格斗冠军同时也是特殊奥林匹克运动会的代言人奥沃睿惊艳亮相!他在22年的职业格斗生涯中获奖无数,这次我们能够邀请到他是华师双语的荣幸!奥沃瑞为我们介绍了他成功的经历,从中我们受益匪浅!格斗冠军来学校怎么能不露一手?他在活动的最后教了同学们一些简单的格斗技巧,同学们都跃跃欲试,度过了快乐的时光! That’s far not the end of the event! We also had a special guest. His name is Aowo Rui and he is a professional fighter. He achieved a lot of awards during his 22-years career. It was a really great honor for ECNUAS to invite him here. Aowo Rui told us something about his experiences and we really learnt a lot from his sharing. He also taught us some basic and simple fight techniques. 华师双语高中部|江西铅山支教行之教学篇2016年11月15日,继婺源文化行与连史纸厂经济行之后,华师双语高中师生一行30多人在江西铅山县的太源民族学校开展了学习与支教活动。随着火车的车轮开始向前滚动,上海逐渐变成身后渐渐远离的一个点,我们最终来到这绵延的青山之中。同学们怀着憧憬的心理,期待着未来三天的支教活动。Afterthe trip to Wuyuan and the Liansi paper factory, the high school teachers andstudents of ECNUAS went to the Taiyuan Ethnical School in County Yanshan,Jiangxi Province to start our volunteer teaching on 15th Nov. 2016.As the train went forward, Shanghai was far left behind and we finally reacheddeep into the green mountains. Actually, we have all been looking forward tothis trip volunteer teaching trip for a long time.在支教活动开展的三天中,我们师生向太原民族学校的学生亲自开设了语文、数学、英语、美术、音乐和体育六类课程。正式的支教活动开始于11月16日,而在此之前我们充分利用课间和午休时间来了解我们未来的教学对象。In the three dayswe were there, our teachers and students gave Chinese, math, English, visualart, music and PE class to the local students. We made full use of the break andlunchtime to learn about our future students’ funds of knowledge before reallystarting our volunteer teaching.11月16日,我们正式开展了支教活动。新来的“小老师”们都在认真备课后进行了尽心尽力的教学,而民族学校的学生们在课堂上也表现出了极大的热情,课堂生动有趣且富有成效。We officially initiated thevolunteer teaching the next day. Our newly arrived “teachers” all made a lot ofpreparation before the class and did their best to help students to learn inthe class. Our effort was rewarded by the huge enthusiasm of the local students.The classes turned out to be productive and a lot of fun.11月17日上午我们结束了近三日的教学活动,并由光尘读书社成员为代表与当地教师展开了教研会议。会议上,当地教师对于同学们的授课过程表示出了极大的赞赏,同时也提出了一些小小的意见,让同学们得以自我改进。We finished our three-daysvolunteer teaching by the morning of November 17th, and in theafternoon the members of Guangchen Reading Club held a teaching discussion withthe local teachers on behalf of all the volunteer teachers. During the meeting,the local teachers expressed their appreciation for our students’ teaching andgave us some valuable suggestions for future improvement.这次的教学活动对于我们的成长都具有非凡的意义。在教学的过程中,通过帮助中小学生学习,我们深刻地体会到了城乡的文化、教育之间的差异性;其次,我们从当地学生真挚的笑容中收获了成就感。他们脸上的笑容盛放在阳光之下,令人内心也涌现出了一股温暖;另外,这次支教活动帮助我们提升了自我,并增强对于当下优裕生活的感恩与珍惜之心。最后,通过几天的支教活动,我们也体会到了为人师表的辛苦与不易。至此,我们要向所有乡村教师及在教育一线工作的教育工作者们致敬!The volunteer teaching meant alot to our own growth. We were deeply affected by the economic, educational andcultural differences between the urban and rural area during our teachingactivities. In the meantime, we also gained a strong sense of achievement from thesincere smiles of the local students. Their smiles blossomed in the sunshineand made us feel much warm in the early winter. In addition, this teachingexperience also helped us improve ourselves in many aspects and reinforced ourgratitude towards our comfortable and happy life. 高中部全体学生赴日本长崎姊妹院校---镇西学院高等学校当飞机缓缓降落在长崎时已经是下午,伴随着第一阵来自长崎的海风出现的还有长崎镇西学院高等学校国际部主管、长崎卫斯理公会大学的井川副校长,长崎政府的各层领导人和可爱的长崎吉祥物。在大家的真挚热情的欢迎之下,我们开启了长崎之旅的第一站——NWU(长崎卫斯理公会大学)。在校长的带领下,我们还参观了镇西学院的校史馆。校长的“我们的教育主题之一就是和平教育”受到了我们全体热烈地鼓掌。在经过短暂的介绍之后,我们在教堂附近的树林中开启了我们另外一项活动——采茶。初采下的茶叶并没有浓郁的香味,经过老师的引导我们开展了泡茶前最重要的步骤——炒。我们看到翠绿的茶叶在铁板上翻滚渐渐地颜色微深变脆,闻到香味渐渐飘出,随后将捏碎的茶叶塞进茶包,放入水壶中看着淡绿色的茶水缓缓流入水杯中。我们品着茶,吃着零食,感受到了日本的茶道文化。随着时间的推移,镇西学院的学生们放学了,接下来就是属于他们的社团时间。跟随着校长的脚步,我们首先踏入的是镇西学院的音乐厅,镇西学院的管乐队正整齐划一地等待着我们。他们特意为我们排练了国歌,同学们都肃静起立,现场气氛庄重又感人。第二首曲子是来自日本的民谣——故乡,根据老师的介绍,当远在外乡的人听到这首歌时都会潸然泪下。我们第二个参观的社团是乒乓球社,看着队员们在球场上挥洒汗水的样子,我们的心中也热血沸腾。接下来参观的还有棒球社,足球社,篮球社,排球社以及柔道与剑道社团。他们刻苦练习的模样、精诚团结的精神和气势汹汹的呐喊,都强烈地震撼了我们的心灵。最终在镇西学院领导和学生的欢送下,我们结束了第一天的行程。文字/戴沚芸翻译/闵天宸,梁圣歆照片/戴奕旻指导老师/刘颖鸿

日本游学之探访长崎历史文化日本行的第二天,华师双语的高中生来到长崎历史文化博物馆聆听明治维新讲座、参观福冈太宰府天满宫,了解了日本的历史文化,同时体验福冈市防灾中心、参加宫崎骏作品展,了解日本的当代文化发展。 首先,我们来到第一站——长崎历史文化博物馆,博物馆研究员为我们准备了一场精彩的讲座,帮助我们进一步认识长崎这座优美港口城市。我们了解到长崎古时作为日本国内四个对外贸易港口之一,在幕府时期之前就已与上海建立了贸易文化交流的关系,这种友好关系一直延续至今。 讲座过后,我们不仅参观了馆内的文物,并且有机会观看正在举办的宫崎骏作品展。大多数同学们都是宫崎骏老先生的粉丝,自然不能错过这个一饱眼福的好机会。在所有的展品中最引人瞩目的莫过于这个天空之城中飞行舰艇的模型了,升降的机身和摇摆的尾部的精妙设计令人叫绝。 由于第二日的行程安排较满,同学们在短时间的参观后,意犹未尽地离开了博物馆,乘车前往另一座九州岛上的城市--福冈。行程中我们途经了一个小加油站,稍作休息。那里碧海蓝天的美景使这个加油站更加有“加油”的作用了。 中午时分,我们到达了福冈,并在一家传统日式餐厅享用日本定食。在宽敞的传统房间里,我们以“金刚式”坐姿享用了这顿午餐,我们的胃很开心,我们的腿脚却很“酸爽”。 日本处于欧亚板块和太平洋板块交接处,是一个多灾多难的国家,因而在防灾救灾方面有着丰富的经验。为了学习当代日本防灾救灾的经验,我们来到福冈市防灾中心体验台风、地震和火灾等重大灾害。首先部分同学来到7级地震体验区,四个人坐在一张桌子周围,地面开始剧烈摇晃,慌忙之中大家彼此握住的手握得更紧了,从未经历过地震的我们真切地感受到了地震的可怕。之后,我们又先后体验了台风、火灾模拟灾害,相信大家都对自然灾害和人为灾害产生了更加深刻的认识,更重要的是学习了该如何镇定地面对灾害。 从防灾中心出来,我们来到福冈太宰府天满宫,继续走进日本的历史。福冈县太宰府天满宫是日本有名的天满宫,供奉日本的“文曲星”——菅原道真,吸引众多学子及其家长前来祈祷。同学们入乡随俗,遵循当地人祭拜学问之神的礼节,用泉水洗手、“洗心”,向神明许下自己的愿望。 另外,我们还品尝了当地的特色小吃--梅枝饼。梅枝饼是包着细腻豆沙的糯米饼,上面印着小小的梅枝图案,其背后还蕴藏着一个美丽的故事。这些因素使得梅枝饼尝起来甜而不腻了,更加有味道。 走出太宰府福满宫,踏上板石铺就的古街上,同学们沉醉在迷人的黄昏暮景中,结束了这一天的充实而快乐的行程。

讲座|做一名优秀的英语学习者该如何阅读?在周三下午的student meeting上,我们邀请到了Becky老师来为高中部学生进行了一场有关阅读与思考的讲座。Becky是我校的阅读老师,有着多年的英语阅读经验,是南加州大学的英语文学硕士,对于英语阅读与写作有着非常专业的研究。We had invited Teacher Becky to our high school for our student meeting on Wednesday afternoon, giving us a lecture about how to read and think. Becky, who teaches reading at our school now, holds a master degree of English Literature from South California University and has years of teaching experience. 在讲座的一开始,Becky老师就对自己的经历以及家庭进行了介绍。她介绍到自己也是一名英语学习者,通过大量的英语阅读以及学习成为了一名非常优秀的英语学习者。她热爱英语阅读,并认为英语阅读能够大大拓展词汇量,提高英语能力,展示了英语阅读的重要性。At the very beginning of the lecture, teacher Becky introduced herself and her family to us. She also shared that she had improved her English successfully through a lot of reading. She keeps great passion of reading and she is convinced that reading can greatly help increasing vacabulary and comprehensive ability of using English.Becky老师建议同学们建立自己的“阅读俱乐部”,定期互相交流图书,并教我们在阅读过程中能够更加受益的方法。同时,Becky老师也向我们推荐了一种叫做 pairs talking sharing的思考方法,有助于我们进行同学之间的交流以及思维方式的发展。Teacher Becky suggested us to set up our own reading clubs to exchange books regularly. She also gave us several tips on how to benefit more from reading. Furthermore, she recommended us a way of thinking named “pairs talking sharing”, which can improve our communication within classmates.本次讲座让同学们掌握了更好的阅读方法,拓展了思维模式,收获良多。This lecture exposed us to excellent reading methods and expanded our thinking modes and thus benefited us a lot.

PDP国际课程|新学期,我们扬帆起航这两周PDP的学生的学习生活开始走上正轨,同学们慢慢适应国际课程的内容和学习方式,同时也在一天天的相处中渐渐了解彼此,一起开始国际课程的征程。Aswe begin our academic career as PDP students, we are getting more and more used to the study content and study methods of international courses. In the meantime, we are getting to know each other day by day, and slowly stepping onto the path of a new life.这两周我们真正开始接触课程内容,各科老师首先介绍了本学期的学习计划和要求,帮助我们对于未来的学习有了清晰的认识。接着,在在每节课堂上的学习中,老师引导我们进行热烈地讨论,积极地探求。从中我们不仅很好地掌握了学科知识,同时也更深入地了解彼此的个性。These two weeks we began to take courses, and our teachers introduced the study plan and requirements for this semester to help us gain a clear understanding of ourfuture studies. Then in each class, our teachers invited us to discuss and actively explore these topics. From these activities, we not only acquired knowledge but also got to know each other better.国际课程除了中文之外,其他学科以英文为授课语言。为了使我们的英语水平提高,帮助我们克服国际课程中的语言障碍,一方面课堂上学科老师由易而难地引入专业词汇,另一方面课堂外年级主管和班主任用英文召开学生集会、用英文做班级活动,尽可能地为我们创造英文使用环境。这样循序渐进的学习方式帮助我们更有自信地适应新的学习生活。Apart from Chinese class, the rest of the international courses are all in English.To help our English get better and overcome the language barrier, our teachers introduced professional vocabulary to us from zero to one hundred, while our extra curriculum supervisor and our teacher organized a students assembly and class activities in English, creating as many opportunities as possible for us to practice our English. To deal with this problem, our teacher Becky, who is responsible for the structure of K-12 English reading courses gave us a meeting on English reading. Becky aroused our interest in reading through a vivid speech and a funny Power Point, while also giving us guidance on how to effectively discuss in English y and express our opinions.The new methods and strategies Becky shared with us came at just theright time as we are all eager to upgrade our English level.晚上六点左右,平常喧闹的我们便会迅速地在图书馆集合并安静下来,认真地开始两个半小时的自习。虽然新学期刚开始作业并不多,但纯英文的作业总会让我们时不时抓耳挠腮。对此讨论是有效的解决方法,每遇到问题同桌之间便开始轻声讨论,共同攻克难题。全英文的课程学习固然难,但以认真的态度和彼此共同努力,我们最终都能提交高质量的作业。在做完作业之余,同学们并非无所事事,一些人在为语言考试做准备,一些人在做一些自己喜欢的事,还有一些人在琢磨新学期的课本,每个人都为未来构筑良好的地基。At 6 pm every day, we gathered in the library and began to study by ourselves for two and a half hours. 高中部学生自主管理委员会竞选大家期待已久的高中部学生自主管理委员会竞选终于开始了!十位竞选者准备得十分充分,给大家带来了一场振奋人心的演讲,充分展现了IB学生的勇于冒险的特点。在经过第一轮的激烈演讲后,全体高中部师生对学生的表现进行投票,最终选出了七位学生会成员。我作为学生会的竞选成员之一,在竞选时也是胆战心惊,宛若一场生死决战。我想这一次的历练都会成为大家记忆中的一个闪光点,为大家的未来打下了扎实的基础。 通过第一轮选拔出的七名学生还需参加第二轮面试,这次面试划分出了三个部门(权益保障,自主管理和学术活动),并竞选出一名主席和一名副主席。 最终,在第二轮面试之后,三个部门划分完毕。在10月23号的升旗仪式上,全校同学一起认识了七位新的学生会成员。其中,PDP1苏俊铭当选主席,PDP1的叶佳当选副主席,另外五人是戴奕旻、金瓯翔、黄昱天、张哲忯和夏浩铭。之后,两位主席分别讲出了学生会的目标和期望,各个部门也讲出了他们的目标和实现目标的途径。希望学生会可以在两位主席的带领下茁壮成长,也希望ECNUAS高中部可以在学生会的帮助下飞得更高。The Long-anticipated highschool student union election finally came. 10 candidates had prepared well andgave us exciting speeches. They adequately manifested the risk-taking spirit ofIB students. After the fiery speeches, all the high school teachers andstudents voted for the candidates, and we finally elected 7 student members. Iam one of the candidates, before I did my speech, I was very nervous, becauseit’s like up or out. I think this experience will be a good memory for our life.It can lay a solid foundation for our future.Throughone period select, the students who were selected need to go for an interview inorder to divide into 3 sections, including self-governing,right guarantee and academic activities, and also, for choosing president andvice-president.Eventually,after the interview, the three divisions were divided. At theflag-raising ceremony on October 23, the whole school met seven new members ofthe student union. PDP1 Su Junming was elected President, and Ye Jia of PDP1was elected vice President, and another five members are Yimin Dai, OuxiangJin, Yutian Huang, Zheqi Zhang and Haoming Xia. After that, the two presidents talked about the goals and expectations of the student union, and the departments also spoke about their goals and the way to achieve them. I hope that the student union can thrive under the leadership of the two presidents,and also hope that the ECNUAS senior high school can fly higher with the help of the student union.

产学研安全行|走进先正达公司12月1日,高中部PDP的全体同学都来到了先正达苏州作物保护有限公司进行参观。在该公司人力资源经理的带领下,我们走进了工厂。工厂的规模和环境都让我们感到非常震撼。 在参观前,人力资源经理先给我们观看了一段访客安全视频,我们了解到了火灾爆炸风险、化学品泄露风险、职业健康危害、叉车世故风险以及机械危害风险。比如,在遇到紧急情况时会启动应急响应,需要访客们听从指挥第一时间到达集合点;紧接着,我们了解到了先正达公司的历史。它是一个大型的跨国企业,其目标是保护地球,安全地养护世界人口,并且有着响亮朝气的口号“激发植物潜能,焕发精彩生活”。先正达的植保产品是农作物中的“劳斯莱斯“,可以用于园艺、高档足球场、高尔夫场、高档草坪的养护。2008年的中国奥运会足球场地就是由先正达公司来进行养护。 接下来我们开始参观工厂。首先我们来到了工程部机房,我们看到了一些比我们年龄还大的20多年的老机器,这些机器虽然“年长“,但是依然坚挺,奋战在机房的前线上;参观完了工程部机房后我们来到了化学物品的放置区域,这块区域的地板都经过防腐特殊处理,如果出现紧急情况也不会让化学物品流到土壤中,污染环境;在化学物品放置区的对面是液剂除草配置区,这一车间专门制作除草液;接下来我们来到了废水处理区,看到了经过净化后的水是非常干净甚至可以养鱼的;紧挨着废水处理区是粉尘车间,该车间的防护措施非常严格,因为粉尘是非常危险的物质,它不仅对人体有很大的危害,其爆炸甚至可能毁掉整个工厂;最后我们来到了工厂的生产车间,看到了整个生产流水线,包括皮带流水装配线、板链线、倍速链、插件线、网带线、悬挂线及滚筒流水线。每一个车间,每一个员工对于一个工厂的运作都是必不可少的存在。 此行我们收获颇丰,了解到了整个工厂的运作是需要多么团结的力量以及严格的管理规定,同时感受了工厂员工的幸苦努力。我们作为先正达苏州作物保护有限公司所接待的第一批学生表示非常的荣幸,希望科技的发展能帮助人类越来越好地保护地球,安全地养活世界人口!On December1, every PDP students went to Syngenta, kun shan’s factory,with the leader of human resources lead, after we went into the factory, the size and the environment shocked us.Before the visit, we saw a safety video, it mentions explore risk, chemistry damage, jobs danger. IBDP江西社会实践:在畲族正心学校支教的日子圣诞节期间,高中部全体46名学生和7名老师赴江西铅山开始了支教旅行。来自我校的学生一个个都化身为小老师在太源畲族正心学校进行从一年级到七年级的为期三天的教学。同学们都为他们所教的课程进行了相当充分的准备,艺术组的为当地的学生们购买了大量的美术材料,音乐组准备了口琴,鼓等道具,教其他课程的同学们为了引起当地学生对于这门课的兴趣,准备PPT,小奖品,卡片等教学道具使他们所教的课程变得生动有趣起来。During the Christmas holiday, all high school students from PDP and five DP students stated their journey for supporting of education in Yanshan, a country in Jiangxi Province.We taught students from Grade 1 to Grade 7 in Taiyuan She People ZhengxinSchool. With the accompany of piano, kids swung and sang, withthe lead of one ECNUAS student, kids also completed all of the movements inorder and played a perfect story to this event. 口琴,被称为口袋中的钢琴,声音悠扬动听,而接下来的一个节目便是由苏俊铭和刘奕晗带领七年级学生一起吹奏的充满中国风的菊花台。老师们口琴开场,嘹亮悠远,震撼住了在场的来宾,随后太源的学生分为两组,一组引吭高歌,一组奋力吹奏。一曲奏罢,全场掌声雷动!Harmonica was praised as the piano in the pockets with pleasant, mildsmooth sound. The next performance was lead by James and Steven from pdp2 witha group of 7 graders to playwhich was filledwith Chinese features. It started with a resonant solo by James. Everyone was amazed by it. The students was then separated into two groups. One group sangout loud, another group play the harmonicas. When the song was finished, all the audience applauded with their heart! 而本次太源畲族正心学校的第一届艺术节压轴曲目要数六年级的打击乐——《律动青山》了。别出心裁的形式吸引住了所有领导与老师们,同学们首先以敲打彩色的杯子开场,律动的节奏轻快简洁却又气势十足。紧接着是六年级的军鼓齐奏,气势如虹的军鼓,整齐划一的节奏,无疑为本次演出圆满画上了句号,也鼓舞了太源的学生们振奋精神,畅想未来。The last performance for the first artfestival of TaiYuan She minority Zheng Xin School was the percussion musicplayed by sixth gradeThe unique form attractedall the leaders and teachers. Students started with percussing colourful cups.The rhythm was brisk yet full of momentum. Next, we had the sixth gradersplaying military drums in unison. It was full of momentum as well and uniformrhythm without a doubt helped to found the foundation of the bright future ofthese students.

讲座|中国铜铟镓硒太阳能民用发电站第一人在3月16日下午,华东师范大学附属双语学校(ECNUAS)迎来了倪欢老师,来为我们做了一次有关于环境保护的演讲。In the afternoon of 16th, March, we had the honor to invite Ms. Ni to give us a speech about her experience on environmental protection. 铜铟镓硒(CIGS)太阳能薄膜分布式发电站是一个兼具遮阳和微弱发电的特殊环保装置,并且发电功能不受天气影响。这位剑桥大学发展学硕士于2014年7月安装了这一装置,成为中国铜铟镓硒(CIGS)户用分布式光伏电站第一人。目前,这台太阳能装置每发一度电,不仅可以直接使用,而且能够享受国家补贴,吸引了众多的人前往参观学习。CIGS Solar Plant is a kind of special equipment that has the function of sunshade and generates electricity. What’s more, its ability will not be affected in cloudy or rainy day. Ms. Ni is the first user of CIGS in China. Nowadays, the user of CIGS can also get subsidy from the government when the solar plant produces electricity. This also attracts a lot of people come to Ms. Ni’s house to visit and learn from it. 倪欢女士一直践行环保生活,而且致力于环保生活的宣传活动。她是上海草根环保公益组织“绿色光年”创始人、 英国外交部壳牌志奋领全额奖学金获得者、上海市欧美同学会金融分会理事、世界自然保护联盟(IUCN)科教委员会(CEC)中国专家委员,曾经在联合国开发计划署(UNDP)、世界银行集团等国际组织供职。目前在某国际环保组织担任高级顾问,长期从事低碳环保行业政策研究。Ms. Ni also has participated and organized many activities about environmental protection. She is the founder of “Green Light-Year”, and is the winner of Chevening Scholarship. She is also the committee member of IUCN CEC, and worked for United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and WBG. 讲座开头,倪老师给同学们播放了一个以她本人生活和工作为题材的记录短片。在这个视频中我们了解到,倪老师在向我们宣传环保之前早已身体力行,在家里着手了许多环保行动。其中,她正确分类厨余垃圾;用淘米水洗碗;用接出来的剩水冲厕所;她还自制了空气净化器。与此同时,家中的一切电力提供也很环保:她使用太阳能发电,并且驾驶油电混合汽车出行。为公共环境出了不少力。 At the beginning of the speech, Ms. Ni showed the students a video about herself based on the introduction to her life and working experience. In this video, we learnt that Ms. Ni had done many things to help preserve our planet. She does the right classification of garbage, and makes full use of the kitchen garbage produced in her house. She reuses waste water produced in the kitchen and purifies the air with the hand make air cleaner. At the meantime, other machines she uses is also very green. She uses the solar plant as the electricity source, and drives the gas-electric hybrid car. All above can help our earth to be cleaner and more sustainable.倪老师告诉同学们,她在家中的小庭院里培养着绿色植物。种植在其中的观赏性植物不仅美观还起着净化空气的作用,所栽培的蔬菜水果也可以自己食用。这既增添了生活的趣味性,又环保健康,何乐而不为呢?下图是她家里的“鱼菜共生系统(aquaponics system)”——一种秉持“不换水,不施肥”的理念的环保生态循环系统。此系统中的鱼儿不需要换水,因为水中的植物会净化水质。同时,植物也不需施肥,因为鱼儿的排泄物正是植物所需最优质、最天然的养料。一举两得!We also knew that Ms. Ni grows plants in her own garden. These plants not only have ornamental value, but also can purify the air. Besides, these vegetables and fruits is also organic and can be a source of food. This is the aquaponics system, a system that can work properly without changing water and using fertilizers. In the system, plants can purify water, while the excrement of fish can help the plants ‘growth. 你是否已经开始感叹倪老师那散发着‘绿色气息’的生活了呢? 也想亲身感受一下吗?完全可以!许多学生慕名而来,去到倪老师家里参观学习。倪老师会细心地带着他们了解Smart Evar,普及有关环保的知识并且组织了有关绿色的活动,让学生们们自己动手尝试环保手工制作,用升级再回收的聚氯乙烯海报制作环保灯。Have you already started to admire the eco-friendly lifestyle Ms. Ni lives? Do you want to experience it yourselves? Absolutely! Many students visit Ms Ni’s home every week. Ms Ni will introduce them the ‘smart evar’, teach them many knowledge about environment, and let them do green DIY,for example she taught students to use upcycled PVC posters to make green lights. 讲完了老师自己的经历,她带领我们了解了世界上几个重要的环境保护日:‘地球一小时’和‘地球超载日(the earth overshoot day)’。 此外,倪老师也讲述了其他有关于环保的的系统、组织,如SDGs(可持续性发展目标),以及TEEB(the economics of ecosystems biodiversity)等等。倪老师结束演讲之后,本校的环艺社学生也说出了自己在学校展开的环保活动,并且与老师交流了自己社团的对未来活动可能性的畅想。倪老师鼓励同学们去坚持保护环境的举动,呼吁我们多多实践,加强对于保护环境的意识,更加深入地了解全球性生态现状与问题。After talking about the experience she had, Ms Ni introduced “earth hour” and “the earth overshoot day”.In this lecture, Ms Ni also introduced other environmental protection organization such as SDGs and TEEB.After the speech, student from Breathe Environmental Club also talked about their activity they may do in the future. Ms Ni called on every student to have more awareness on environmental issues, and take responsibility on protecting our earth.
