上周，高中部十年级为期五天的“时空智感·绿翼·慧农”无人机跨学科创新营圆满落幕。38名刚完成IGCSE全球大考的10年级学生，在迈向 IBDP 之际，依托外冈无人农场、同济大学卓越工程师学院、大众工业学校等实践基地，开展协作式项目探究，将课堂知识与社会真实议题深度对接。各小组成功将低空经济中的时空智感技术，从农业场景迁移至城市交通拥堵监测、社区微气候降温规划、沿海珊瑚礁健康评估、城市绿化带植被健康状况评估及农业土壤污染等多元领域。 项目打破打破了传统学科壁垒，将物理（传感器软硬件与底层逻辑）、生物（NDVI 植被指数分析）、经济和商科（成本效益分析）、心理（用户和社区心理的转变）、艺术（无人机飞控与三维建模）及音乐（生态音乐创作）有机交织，生动诠释了创新教育的多元魅力。 此次项目不仅让同学们掌握了硬核的科创技能，锤炼了跨学科解决复杂真实问题的系统思维，更培养了他们用科技关怀社会、用智慧赋能民生的责任感。Grade 10 students completed a five-day drone innovation camp bridging IGCSE and IBDP. They applied smart sensing technologies—originally for agriculture—to urban traffic, climate, ecology, and pollution monitoring through projects with local partners. The camp integrated physics, biology, economics, psychology, art, and music, equipping students with technical skills, interdisciplinary problem-solving, and a stronger sense of social responsibility.

6月18日，华旭幼儿园依托IB超学科探究框架，围绕“我们如何表达自己”与“共享地球”两大核心概念，举办了一场融合端午粽香、父亲节感恩与世界杯激情的亲子主题游园会。活动以亲子互动为主线，孩子们在真实情境中体验钓粽子、制香囊等传统习俗，同时通过认识各国国旗、模拟足球赛等方式感受世界多元文化。在“与爸爸并肩挑战”环节，父子共同参与带球、传球，颠球，让父爱在游戏中化为温暖力量。本次活动将文化传承与国际视野有机融合，让传统可触摸、让世界可感知，更让亲子情感在互动中升华，充分体现了IB课程“全人教育”的实践理念。On June 18, SABK held a parent-child carnival blending Dragon Boat Festival traditions, Father's Day, and World Cup excitement within the IB transdisciplinary framework. Children enjoyed festive activities, explored global cultures, and took part in father-child sports challenges. The event merged cultural heritage with international perspectives, strengthened family bonds, and embodied the IB holistic education philosophy.

上周，小学PYP一、二、四年级开展了超学科主题探究成果展。一年级围绕“交通工具”，分海陆空三组，通过问题思考、海报制作与废旧搭建，完整展示探究闭环。融合STEAM理念，探究交通工具演变，并就“全球变暖”英语辩论，展现科学素养与批判性思维。二年级在“共享地球”主题下，用废旧品设计服装并走秀汇报，传递共享家园理念。四年级自信分享灾害安全计划，解析灾害成因、影响及社区应对，展现扎实研究能力。本次成果展，全程英语讲解，语言流畅；家长积极互动，赞誉成长。活动彰显主动探索与协同合作的综合素养。Last week, Grade 1, 2, and 4 of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) held their celebration of learning based on transdisciplinary themes. Grade 1 focused on “Transportation,” with classes divided into land, sea, and air groups. They completed an inquiry cycle of questioning, poster-making, and constructing with recycled materials. Integrating STEAM concepts, they explored the evolution of transport and held an English debate on “global warming,” showcasing scientific literacy and critical thinking. Under the theme “Sharing the Planet,” Grade 2 students designed fashion with waste materials and presented a runway show and group reports, conveying the idea of sharing our common home. G4E delivered excellent presentations, confidently sharing their disaster safety plans with parents and peers. They expressed their knowledge deeply by clearly explaining the causes, impacts, and community responses to natural disasters, demonstrating strong research, critical thinking, and a genuine understanding of the unit.The presentations were delivered fluently in English; parents interacted actively and highly praised the students’ growth. The event highlighted the comprehensive qualities of active exploration and collaborative cooperation.

上周，初中部为中考班举行了传统考前动员祝福仪式，全体初三师生齐聚一堂。龚校长亲手为每位考生系上象征吉祥与希望的红绳，并深情寄语：“朱绳载期许，提笔定乾坤”，勉励同学们沉着冷静、自信应考，以最佳状态迎接人生挑战。端午假期期间，初三年级全体教师赴考点全程送考，同学们圆满完成了中考全部科目。预祝所有考生都能如愿以偿，为自己的初中生涯交上一份满意答卷。Last week, the middle school held a traditional pre-exam blessing ceremony for Grade 9 students taking the hongkao . Gloria Gong tied red strings—symbols of good luck and hope—on each student's wrist and offered words of encouragement, urging them to stay calm and confident. During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, teachers accompanied students to exam venues and supported them throughout. All students completed the exams successfully. We wish them all the best in achieving their goals and closing their junior high journey on a high note.

This event received strong support from the Shanghai International Education Association, with the Association’s SecretaryGeneral, Mr Li Weiping, attending in person to witness the friendship between the two schools. Mr Derek Edwards, Principal of Asheville High School, and his team of teachers spoke highly of SABS’s interdisciplinary programmes, its ‘Science + Art’ educational ethos, and its diverse curriculum design! SABS students’ solid language skills, fluid musical performances and international outlook earned them enthusiastic applause from both Chinese and international guests! SABS will continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation with its international sister schools, creating more opportunities for students to take to the world stage.
