上周,普高高一、高二年级与小学部分别开展春季研学活动。普高学子前往安吉云上草原,体验射箭、云端飞车等多元项目,并完成团队定向、寻找移动宝藏、巧立群钉、解谜题、寻找黑衣人及小组造型秀等小队任务,在挑战中锻炼协作与思维。小学部则走进天文馆、乐高乐园和欢乐谷:在天文馆探索星空与行星;在乐高乐园搭建创意模型;在欢乐谷体验游乐项目。本次研学将课堂延伸至户外,让不同学段的学生在实践中收获知识、快乐与成长。Last week, senior high school students and elementary students went on spring study tours.High schoolers visited Anji Cloud Grassland, where they tried activities like archery and go-karts, and completed team challenges that strengthened their cooperation and problem-solving skills.Elementary students went to a planetarium and Legoland. They explored the night sky and planets at the planetarium, and built creative models at Legoland, learning about structure and balance.The outdoor tours helped students at different levels gain knowledge, joy, and growth through hands-on experience.

5月9日,我校特邀儿童及青少年心理教育专家、华东师范大学心理健康教育与咨询中心特聘督导陈默教授开展“看见 陪伴 成长”为主题的家长赋能课堂讲座,现场座无虚席、反响热烈。陈默教授围绕孩子身心需求、分龄陪伴价值及家庭教育核心要点展开分享,为家长提供科学育儿思路与实用方法。本次讲座助力家长读懂孩子、智慧陪伴,共促孩子健康成长。On May 9, Professor Chen Mo gave a parent workshop titled “See, Accompany, Grow.” He shared insights on children’s needs, age-appropriate companionship, and family education, offering practical guidance. The event helped parents better understand and support their children’s healthy growth.

5月7日,九年级爱丁堡公爵奖户外徒步活动在杭州九溪顺利落幕。本次徒步历时三天两晚,总里程达35公里。同学们翻越龙井村茶山,完成公路耐力拉练,最后沿铜鉴湖环湖慢行收尾,用脚步丈量山野,用坚持迎接挑战。活动将学生置于真实的户外环境中,既锻炼了体能和意志力,也帮助他们积累实践时长,为获得爱丁堡公爵奖认证迈出坚实一步。参与同学纷纷表示,在团队协作与自我突破中收获了宝贵成长。On May 7, ninth-grade students completed a 35-km Duke of Edinburgh’s Award hike in Jiuxi, Hangzhou, over three days and two nights. They climbed tea hills, marched on roads, and walked around Tongjian Lake. The activity built their physical and mental strength, helped them accumulate practice hours, and marked a solid step toward earning the DoE Award.

上周,在 IB 超学科主题“共享地球”(Sharing the Planet)的探究旅程中,玫瑰班各个年级围绕核心概念,培养者目标等,开展了一系列沉浸式、跨学科的探究实践。当主题临近尾声,一场丰富多彩的学习庆典,成为孩子们展示探究成果、分享成长喜悦的舞台,也让家长们亲眼见证了孩子的蜕变与进步,孩子们的沟通技能、社交技能、思考技能与自我管理能力都得到了全面提升。Last week, during the IB transdisciplinary theme Sharing the Planet, the Rose Class carried out a series of immersive, cross-disciplinary inquiries centered on core concepts and learner profile attributes. As the theme drew to a close, a rich celebration of learning became a stage for children to showcase their inquiry and share their joy of growth. Parents witnessed their children's transformation and progress. The students' communication, social, thinking, and self-management skills were all comprehensively enhanced.

Each grade outlined key focus areas for students, and discussions covered mental health, personal growth, and academics. Teachers gave practical advice, and parents shared feedback. The meetings enhanced mutual understanding and trust, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

上周,龚德辉校长与徐彦昕书记拜访了华旭的加拿大姐妹学校——拥有120年历史的Laureate College。这所学校保留着浓厚的传统气质。在与校董及校长团队的深入交流中,双方围绕STEAM+艺术、国际编程挑战赛、学生交换、教师发展等方向展开探讨。学校也分享了本校的选修课程、“四个一”培养体系以及IB全人教育实践。教育真正有意义的地方,也许就在于帮助孩子跨越边界,看见更大的世界。他们还参访了拥有145年历史的加拿大顶尖私立IB学校——Ridley College,以及加拿大安大略省规模最大的公立科技高中Thomas A. Blakelock High School(TAB)。虽相隔万里,校园一样美丽,教师一样专业,学生一样充满朝气和活力。许多经验值得我们学习,未来将规划更加广泛深入的师生互动交流。Gloria Gong and Vincent Xu visited SABS’s Canadian sister school, Laurel College (120 years old), which retains a strong traditional character. Discussions with the board and principal team covered STEAM + arts, international coding competitions, student exchanges, and teacher development. SABS shared its elective courses, “Four Ones” cultivation system, and IB holistic education practices.They also toured Ridley College (145 years old), a top Canadian private IB school, and Thomas A. Blakelock High School (TAB), the largest public STEM high school in Ontario. Despite the distance, the campuses were equally beautiful, the teachers equally professional, and the students equally energetic. Many experiences are worth learning, and future extensive teacher-student exchanges are planned.
