IBDP江西社会实践:在畲族正心学校支教的日子

       圣诞节期间,高中部全体46名学生和7名老师赴江西铅山开始了支教旅行。来自我校的学生一个个都化身为小老师在太源畲族正心学校进行从一年级到七年级的为期三天的教学。同学们都为他们所教的课程进行了相当充分的准备,艺术组的为当地的学生们购买了大量的美术材料,音乐组准备了口琴,鼓等道具,教其他课程的同学们为了引起当地学生对于这门课的兴趣,准备PPT,小奖品,卡片等教学道具使他们所教的课程变得生动有趣起来。

During the Christmas holiday, all high school students from PDP and five DP students stated their journey for supporting of education in Yanshan, a country in Jiangxi Province.We taught students from Grade 1 to Grade 7 in Taiyuan She People ZhengxinSchool. Everyone had a good preparation for the classes they taught.  Students in art group bought plenty of useful art materials, music group arranged harmonicas, drums and many other instruments. In order to attract local students, other groups prepared PPT ,awards, cards and other teaching tool.







       在短短的三天支教过程中,每一位学生都有所蜕变。在第一天去支教的早晨,我们早早起床,抱着一颗紧张 好奇而又激动的心行走了大约一个小时的山路。崎岖的山路,时而陡峭,时而凹凸不平,在这四公里的行走过程中每个人书包里都装着大大小小的教学用品,但我们并没有因为山坡的起伏,肩上的压力而   有所退缩,直面困难的我们选择用乐观方式去面对,同学们有的唱起了山歌,有的背起了应景的古文,仿佛与这连绵起伏的大山融为一体。

During this three days ofteaching, every student had metamorphosis. The first day of teaching, we got upearly and walked for about an hour on a mountain road with a nervous, curiosity and excitement heart. The rugged mountain road was steep and bumpy, during this four-kilometer walk, everyone’s schoolbags were filled with teaching supplies.However, we did not flinch because of these things, we were optimistic to face the difficulties, such as sang the folk songs and recited the ancient texts. We seemed to be part of nature.





       在教学过程中,我们都见识到了不一样的自己。有些同学挑战了自己本身不太擅长的科目,但通过用心的准备,创新性的课堂将课程进展的都十分顺利。艺术组和音乐组的同学在有限的课程中排出了一个个优秀的节目(详情请见展示片),让每一个当地的学生都有展现自我的机会。在与这些孩子们交流的过程中,即使是平时大大咧咧也沉下心来,换位思考了孩子们的角度,他们蹲下身子与孩子们平视轻声细语的沟通,在孩子们没有理解的时候依旧反复耐心的进行讲解…通过与孩子们的平等交流,我们增加了他们平时有些欠缺的自信心,让他们大胆地发挥出自己的特色。

In the process of teaching,we all saw different selves. Some students challenged the subjects they are not very good at. However, through careful preparation and creative classes they made progress in the course. Students in the art group and music group hadlined up excellent programs in their limited courses (see the “show” we willpush for more details), giving every local student an opportunity to present themselves. During communication with the children there, even careless students crouched down to talk with the children in a soft and smooth tune.Moreover, when the children did not understand still repeated patience to explain... By communicating with the children on an equal footing, we increase their lack of confidence and make them play their part happily.













       同学们对不同环境的适应性也有很大的提升。起初我们对于住宿的条件有些惊讶,从有局限性热水的露天浴室到保暖及隔音设备都有所欠缺客栈一开始都让我们每个人多多少少有些不适,但当我们走出客栈,抬头仰望夜空的时候,被漫天星辰深深的吸引。虽然天气寒冷,但我们点上了篝火,望着星空久久不愿离去。渐渐地我们发现,虽然这样的硬件条件有所欠缺,但是也别有一番风味,让我们体验到了一种新的生活方式,感受到了快乐。

      The students' adaptability to different environments had also been greatly improved. At first, we were surprised at the conditions of accommodation. From the open-air bathroom with limited hot water to the thermal insulation and sound insulation equipment, there was a lack of warmth, and the inn initially made each of us a little bit uncomfortable. Nevertheless, when we went out theinn, we were all deeply attracted by the stars of the sky. Although the temperature was very low, we got the bonfire on and looked at the starry skyfor a long time… Gradually, we found that although the conditions of accommodation were deficient, it also enabled us to experience a new way of life and feel happy.







      在这次支教活动中,我们也发现了当地教育可以提升的地方。当地学生缺乏系统性的教育,比如课本本身的编排有些混乱,层次性不是特别强,不同年级的教学内容相似。这样使当地的学生难以快速地掌握课程的内容以及不容易很好地利用它们。所以我们希望通过这次的支教,能够运用我们微薄的力量,引起当地老师的注意。

We also found that the local education could be promoted in this supporting of education. Local students lack systematic education, such as thelayout of the textbook itself is chaotic, the level is not particularly strong,the teaching content of different grades is similar. This makes it difficult for local students to master the contents of the courses quickly and to make good use of the courses. Therefore, we hope that through this teaching, we canuse our meager strength to attract the attention of local teachers.





       这次的支教活动不仅为当地的学生传达出了爱心,他们也教会了我们懂得感恩,懂得我们现在的生活的来之不易,以及懂得拥有长辈关注的幸福快乐。我们想通过这样的一篇文章引起大家对于支教和大山的孩子的关注,让每个孩子都有权利获得适合他们的教育。

This teaching activities not only just conveyed love to the students, they also taught us to be a person who knows how to be grateful, understood our present life are not easy to get and we also knew that have the attention of families is a very fortunate thing. We want to use this article to cause everyone to pay attention to the children which study in remote mountainous areas so that let every child get the best education for them.



        2017年12月27号,我校高中部高一41位以及高二5位同学已在铅山太源畲族正心学校支教三天,今天是同学向教师与领导展示教学成果的日子。其中,三至五年级的小朋友经过我校人文交流社的成员指导后,每人都装饰了一件披风,风格多姿多彩,颜色鲜艳。接着,小学生在我校学生的带领下进行了一场fashionshow,每个年级都有自己专属的走秀音乐。学生们伴随着音乐穿着自己装饰的披风,抬头挺胸的和自己的小伙伴一起走向红毯。

On the date of 2017/12/27, ECNUAS students have been teaching in YanShan TaiYuan She minority school for three days, and today is the day for them to show the results by performing. 3rd, 4th and 5th grade’s students used different techniques taught by ECNUAS students, and made their own cloaks. In today’s event, they wore the cloaks and performed a fashion show, every grade has their own background music. Students walked with confidence on the red carpet, showed their coolest poses to the audience.







       在三四五年级的走秀之后,我们迎来了一二年级可爱的小朋友们。在这两天的音乐课当中,华师双语的同学们教了这些可爱的孩子们儿歌《粉刷匠》,《上学歌》和情景舞蹈《数鸭子》。小朋友们在张婉婷、李其同学的指导下,伴着钢琴伴奏,演唱了这两首歌曲。在表演舞蹈时,在吴诸俣、胡欣然同学的带领下,小朋友们顺利地学完了舞蹈,也成功地表演出了留守儿童期待关爱这一剧情。

After 3rd, 4th, 5th grade’s fashion show, 1st and 2nd grades tudents performed two cute children’s songs-- and , they also played a situational dance--. These plays were taught by ECNUAS students in two days. With the accompany of piano, kids swung and sang, withthe lead of one ECNUAS student, kids also completed all of the movements inorder and played a perfect story to this event.



      口琴,被称为口袋中的钢琴,声音悠扬动听,而接下来的一个节目便是由苏俊铭和刘奕晗带领七年级学生一起吹奏的充满中国风的菊花台。老师们口琴开场,嘹亮悠远,震撼住了在场的来宾,随后太源的学生分为两组,一组引吭高歌,一组奋力吹奏。一曲奏罢,全场掌声雷动!

Harmonica was praised as the piano in the pockets with pleasant, mildsmooth sound. The next performance was lead by James and Steven from pdp2 witha group of 7 graders to play which was filledwith Chinese features. It started with a resonant solo by James. Everyone was amazed by it. The students was then separated into two groups. One group sangout loud, another group play the harmonicas. When the song was finished, all the audience applauded with their heart!





        而本次太源畲族正心学校的第一届艺术节压轴曲目要数六年级的打击乐——《律动青山》了。别出心裁的形式吸引住了所有领导与老师们,同学们首先以敲打彩色的杯子开场,律动的节奏轻快简洁却又气势十足。紧接着是六年级的军鼓齐奏,气势如虹的军鼓,整齐划一的节奏,无疑为本次演出圆满画上了句号,也鼓舞了太源的学生们振奋精神,畅想未来。

The last performance for the first artfestival of TaiYuan She minority Zheng Xin School was the percussion musicplayed by sixth gradeThe unique form attractedall the leaders and teachers. Students started with percussing colourful cups.The rhythm was brisk yet full of momentum. Next, we had the sixth gradersplaying military drums in unison. It was full of momentum as well and uniformrhythm without a doubt helped to found the foundation of the bright future ofthese students.
