12月1日，高中部PDP的全体同学都来到了先正达苏州作物保护有限公司进行参观。在该公司人力资源经理的带领下，我们走进了工厂。工厂的规模和环境都让我们感到非常震撼。

       在参观前，人力资源经理先给我们观看了一段访客安全视频，我们了解到了火灾爆炸风险、化学品泄露风险、职业健康危害、叉车世故风险以及机械危害风险。比如，在遇到紧急情况时会启动应急响应，需要访客们听从指挥第一时间到达集合点；紧接着，我们了解到了先正达公司的历史。它是一个大型的跨国企业，其目标是保护地球，安全地养护世界人口，并且有着响亮朝气的口号“激发植物潜能，焕发精彩生活”。先正达的植保产品是农作物中的“劳斯莱斯“，可以用于园艺、高档足球场、高尔夫场、高档草坪的养护。2008年的中国奥运会足球场地就是由先正达公司来进行养护。
        接下来我们开始参观工厂。首先我们来到了工程部机房，我们看到了一些比我们年龄还大的20多年的老机器，这些机器虽然“年长“，但是依然坚挺，奋战在机房的前线上；参观完了工程部机房后我们来到了化学物品的放置区域，这块区域的地板都经过防腐特殊处理，如果出现紧急情况也不会让化学物品流到土壤中，污染环境；在化学物品放置区的对面是液剂除草配置区，这一车间专门制作除草液；接下来我们来到了废水处理区，看到了经过净化后的水是非常干净甚至可以养鱼的；紧挨着废水处理区是粉尘车间，该车间的防护措施非常严格，因为粉尘是非常危险的物质，它不仅对人体有很大的危害，其爆炸甚至可能毁掉整个工厂；最后我们来到了工厂的生产车间，看到了整个生产流水线，包括皮带流水装配线、板链线、倍速链、插件线、网带线、悬挂线及滚筒流水线。每一个车间，每一个员工对于一个工厂的运作都是必不可少的存在。

       此行我们收获颇丰，了解到了整个工厂的运作是需要多么团结的力量以及严格的管理规定，同时感受了工厂员工的幸苦努力。我们作为先正达苏州作物保护有限公司所接待的第一批学生表示非常的荣幸，希望科技的发展能帮助人类越来越好地保护地球，安全地养活世界人口！



On December1, every PDP students went to Syngenta, kun shan’s factory,with the leader of human resources lead, after we went into the factory, the size and the environment shocked us.

Before the visit, we saw a safety video, it mentions explore risk, chemistry damage, jobs danger. When we metdanger, the company will start a alarm, custom will go to the car-park places,in addition, smoking, phone is not allowed when they are having a visit. Weneed to wear something that can protect theirselves, syngenta is a big company,the capital is basal, there are 90 country and direction have it, and 28000staff.it is an ideal company, the aim is protect the earth, safely caredearth’s population Syngenta crop protection products is equal to the crops inthe "Rolls-Royce", it is a high grade product, gardening, high-gradefootball, golf, high-grade lawn, or even 2008 years of Olympic football fieldsare made by syngenta for maintenance.
 

Next we manager wang led us to visit the factory of each department,first we went to the engineering room, we saw in the room with age is biggerthan us more than 20 years of old machines, these machines although"older", but is still strong, fighting in the front room; Engineeringroom after that visit, we went to the place the area of chemicals, the floor ofthe area have been anti-corrosion special processing, if there's an emergencychemicals will flow to the soil, polluting the environment; In the area of thechemical object placement area, which is the liquid weeding area, which isproduced in this workshop, but because there is still smell in this workshop,we didn't go in there this time; Then we came to the waste water treatmentarea, which cleaned the pipes and cleaned the barrels, and saw that thepurified water was very clean and even able to raise fish. 

Next to the waste water treatment area is the dust in the workshop, workshop dust protective measures do very strict, because dust is very dangerous substances, dust not only have great harm to human body, when it may even destroy the whole plant explosion, manager wang as we explained: "dust explosion and liquid explosion, explosion is just a process of energy release, explosion happens only once; And the shockwave of the dust explosion is continuous, and this is a process of energy transfer, and the explosion of energy will not be reduced until a place where there is no dust will explode." ; Finally, we came to the factory production workshop, we see the whole production line in the workshop: belt assembly line, chain plate line, times the speed chain, plug-inline, mesh belt line, hanging line and drum line. Every workshop, every employee is indispensable to the operation of a factory.
