1、 期中考试 Mid-term Exam

第十周,学期已过半,同学们转入期中考试周,特殊时期,在家长老师同学们的共同努力下全体同学完成设施设备的准备、调试;本周,根据以往经验的总结,学校完善了在线考试的制度为考试公正公平打下基础91011年级的同学们仔细复习后参加了考试,期待他们的好成绩

The 10th week passed by, and half of the semester has be completed. Students in the High School faced the mid-term exam this week. In the special period, with the joint efforts of parents, teachers and students, all students completed the preparation and commissioning of facilities and equipment. Based on previous experiences, the school improved the online examination system, laying the foundation for the fairness and efficiency of the examinations. After careful review, the students in grades 9, 10 and 11 took the exam and looked forward to their good exam results.

2、 12年级DP英语IO结束线上考试也要高要求  IO Finished, High Quality Even Online

IO考试是什么呢即口语考试Individual Oral Assessment)。学生需在5个核心主题中进行分析与老师进行11的探讨展现自己的话题拓展能力和思维深度此外学生还有原文作品进行解读增加和学习相关文化背景即使现在IO是线上进行的英语组的老师们仍保持高要求严格的要求学生们的表述让同学们在接下来一个阶段以更高的标准要求自己

What is the IO? Actually, it is Individual Oral Assessment. Students need to analyze the five core themes and have a one-to-one discussion with teachers to show their topic development ability and the depth of their thoughts. In addition, students should interpret the original works to increase and learn relevant cultural background. Even though IO is now conducted online, the teachers in the English Group still maintain high and strict requirements of the students' expression, so that the students can develop themselves with higher standards.

3、 学习分享:《坚韧不拔的故事》My Stories with Resilient By G11 Abe Zhao

高中部图书馆推出了学习分享活动激励同学们互相学习更近一步以下为第一期坚韧不拔的故事》,分享自11年级的赵同学

The high school library has launched a story sharing activity to encourage students to share and learn from each other. The following is the first sharing about the learner attribute "Resilient". It was shared by Abe Zhao in Grade 11 this time.

4、 班主任会议 Homeroom Teachers Meeting

居家期间班主任的工作要如何开展呢本周班主任会议中校长老师们对各个年级各个班级的不同情况进行了细致的讨论主要探讨了如下问题1家校共同关注学生出勤情况停校不停学2居家阶段老师们要关注学生学业压力适当调解学生压力310年级学生进入选课阶段增强家校升学办沟通

How to carry out the work of the homeroom teachers? In this week's homeroom teachers meeting, the principals and teachers had a detailed discussion on the different situations of each grade and class. They mainly discussed the following problems: 1. Families and schools pay attention to students' attendance and participation in online classes; 2. Teachers should pay attention to the stress that students face and try to help them the relieve stress; 3. 5、 家长分享成长的力量 Parent Sharing: The Power of Growth

华师双语的全生涯规划课程自去年全面开展学校邀请各界大咖乃至我校学生家长与同学们分享他们对于生涯规划的理解以及了解并为同学们分享他们的经验本周学校邀请了华师双语的家长代表——畅毅祥先生(畅爸),分享一个北方孩子一路向南方走来打拼体验各行各业工作的经历畅爸提到:中华优秀传统文化是中国孩子走向世界的根基,没有根基,没有成为成功世界公民的可能性;而当你当足够优秀的时候,你的职业在一定程度上是没有边界的。

The Career Planning Program of ECNUAS was fully carried out since last year. The school invited celebrities from all walks of life and even the parents of our students to share their understanding of career planning and their experiences with the students. This week, the school invited Mr. Chang, Yixiang, a parent representative, to share the experience of himself. He argues taht excellent traditional Chinese culture is the foundation for Chinese children to go to the world. Without a foundation, there is no possibility of becoming successful world citizens; When you are good enough, your career has no boundaries to some extent.

6、 12年级毕业生艺术展黄道星座 Art Exhibition: ZODIAC 

 今年高中部12年级视觉艺术7位学生在这个特殊时期在师生共同努力下活用Artsteps网站建立了线上展览活动跟上展览厅设定好的步伐来看看学生们的作品吧每一部作品边上也有大家的创作理念和评论区欢迎一起参与讨论吧

This year, there are 7 students in Grade 12 studying Visual Arts in the high school. In this special period, with the joint efforts of teachers and students, they have made full use of Artsteps website and launched an online VA exhibition. Keep up with the pace set in the exhibition hall and take a look at the students' works. There are also creative ideas and comment areas beside each work. Welcome to participate in the discussion.

7、 爱丁堡项目政策调整 The Adjustment of Duke of Edinburgh Award

由于上海疫情的特殊性今年爱丁堡公爵奖根据上海现在的实际情况对项目进行了调整高中部参加了爱丁堡公爵奖的同学与协调员尹老师共同探究了疫情特殊时期下爱丁堡公爵国际奖临时爱奖政策变化及指南,从线上记录到户外探索等多个方面帮助同学们在特殊时期参与及完成奖项申请。

Due to the epidemic in Shanghai, this year's Duke of Edinburgh Award has adjusted the project according to the current situation. High school students who participated in the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the coordinator, Mr. Yin, jointly explored the policy changes and guidelines of the temporary Duke of Edinburgh International Award in the special period of the epidemic, and helped students participate in and complete the award application in the special period from online recording to outdoor exploration.

8、 G10选课项目的启动 Initiation of G10 Course Induction Program

高中部为1112年级的同学们提供IBDPA-Level课程。本周五,10年级同学们的1011选课项目正式启动,高中部的课程协调员和升学指导召集10年级的同学们向他们讲解IBDPA-Level课程方案、选课需要考虑的要素、学校的政策、以及接下来的一系列安排,帮助学生做出合适的、个性化的选择。

High school provides students in Grade 11 and Grade 12 with IBDP and A-Level programs. On Friday afternoon, HS formally initiated the G10 Course Induction Program. The curriculum coordinators and counselor of high school convened students in Grade 10 to explain the curricum plans for IBDP and A-level in the next academic year, factors that should be taken into consideration for course selection, relevant school policies and the arrangements of the course induction program, in order to help students to make informed choices.

9、 如何用技术促进在线教学 How to use technology to enhance online teaching

线下教学时老师们会利用很多不同的教学技术,如建构模型等现在转入线上教学老师们该如何使用技术,来增加学生们学习的自主性提高学生们上课时的注意力等呢高中部图书馆教师占老师就上述问题分享了不少有用的教学技术给老师们PadletKahoot等工具帮助老师们能提高学生学习效率,并给到学生们及时的反馈

When teaching face to face, teachers use a variety of technology, such as models. Now turning to online teaching, how can teachers use technology to increase students' learning autonomy and improve students' engagement in class? Miss Tiffany Zhan, the teacher librarian in the high school, shared many useful technological tools to teachers as the above question, such as padlet, kahoot and other tools to help teachers improve students' learning efficiency and provide timely feedback to students.

10、 小身躯大能量携手共抗疫 Fight Pandemic Together

封闭在家期间对学生们的生活学习都是一个巨大的挑战随时随地可能的核酸检测长期隔离导致的生活问题等在部分地方人员缺乏的情况下高中部的部分学生争取家长的许可帮助社区共同抗疫他们成为志愿者帮忙分拣抗原监测材料并分发入户他们为年长的邻居每日提供物资支持新一代的新青年们小小的身躯大大的能量他们做力所能及之事携手共抗疫情

During the period of lockdown at home, it is a great challenge to students' life and study. Nucleic acid tests anytime and anywhere may disturb the study, problems caused by long-term isolation may affect the life. In the case of lack of local volunteers, some students in high school asked for the permission of their parents and helped the community fight the epidemic together. They became volunteers to help sort antigen monitoring materials and distribute them to neighbors’ homes. They provide food support for their elderly neighbors every day. The new generation, with young bodies and great energy, do what they can and fight the epidemic with others together.
