1、 G9开学第一天 The First Day of Returning School

6月13日，9年级学生返校，备战中考。开学的第一天，不仅有学生健康中心的保健医生进行《在校网格化管理相关防疫要求》现场培训，龚校长也前往各班级教室给学生们打气，鼓励大家要以积极的心态面对常态化网格管理。学校也为各个班级的同学们特别安排了每日的核酸及行动路线，确保每一位师生安全。我们要坚信，只要有付出，美好终将如约而至。同学们，中考加油！

On June 13, G9 students returned to school to prepare for the High School Entrance Exam. On the first day of school, not only did the nurses of Health Care Center introduce the requirements for epidemic prevention related to the management in school, but also Headmistress Ms. Gloria Gong went to all classes and classrooms to cheer the students up and told them to face the normal grid management with a positive attitude. The school also specially arranged daily nucleic acid and routes for the students in each class to ensure the safety of every teacher and student. We must firmly believe that as long as we pay, good news will come as promised. Students, come on and try the best for your future!

2、 学生分享 Student's Sharing

期末来临，同学们开始准备复习了！晨会上，10年级、11年级的同学们带来了他们的学习和复习小妙招。11年级的葛同学就提到，提高学习效率需要从身心两方面发展做起，10年级的同学们则提到，需要学会使用日程软件，提醒自己DDL，别将学习、作业拖到最后一刻。同学们，行动起来吧，一起迎接本学期的最后一个大挑战吧。

The end of the term is coming, and all students are preparing for the revision. At the HS morning assembly, the students of G10 and G11 brought their learning and review tips. Christine Ge, a student in Grade 11, mentioned that to improve learning efficiency, students need to start with physical and mental development. Students in Grade 10 mentioned that students  need to learn to use scheduling apps to remind themselves not to leave learning and homework to the last minute. Students, let's take action to meet the last big challenge of this semester.

3、 学生获奖一览 Good News from Students

本周，高中部收到了多位同学的的竞赛好成绩。G10的李默语同学以及G11的崔瀚文同学在Canadian Chemistry  Contest中取得了银奖（中国区前25%）的好成绩；G11的江楚遥同学在British Biology Olympiad中取得了银奖，钱雨琪、钱雨珽同学取得了铜奖。恭喜这些获奖同学们，期待同学们在知识的海洋里畅游，再创佳绩。

This week, high school received good acadmic  competition results from many students. Frank Li from G10 and Ivy Cui from G11 won the silver medals (top 25% in China) in the Canadian Chemistry Contest;  Veronica Jiang from G11 won the silver medal, Gloria Qian and Yuki Qian won the Bronze medal in the British Biology Olympiad. Congratulations to these award-winning students. Looking forward to the students' hardworking and deep studying. Wish one day they will make further achievements.

4、 当太空与艺术碰撞 Collaboration of Art and Space

在高中部艺术组长Christelle老师的计划与运转之下，同学们的太空艺术探索进入了成果展示阶段。这些同学们在过去的一周中将自己的想象完美融入他们设想中的太空世界，并选择使用不同的方式进行了展示。有的同学认为太空中也有奇妙的生物，有的则认为果蔬必不可少......当太空与艺术碰撞，极大的激发了同学们对宇宙的探索、促进了学生们思维、想象力的锻炼。

Under the plan and operation of Ms. Christelle, the subject leader of Art in high school, the students' space art exploration entered the stage of displaying. In the past week, these students have perfectly integrated their imagination into their imagined space world, and chosen different ways to show it. Some students think that there are wonderful creatures in space, while others think that fruits and vegetables are essential. When space collides with art, it greatly stimulates the students' exploration of the universe and promotes the exercise of students' thinking and imagination.

5、 数学：学生兴趣激发 Math: Connect the Knowledge with Life

中国有一句传统名言：学好数理化，走遍天下都不怕。那么，数学怎么帮助我们“走遍天下”呢？数学课上，何老师带着10年级的同学们学习了分组数据和指数的概念。为了加强同学们对这两个概念的理解以及认识，何老师请同学们对生活中的实际事例进行分析应用，在此阶段，同学们经历了信息的收集、整理，知识的拓展与探索，完美的锻炼知识的同时又增进了与现实的联系，激发了学习的兴趣。

There is a traditional saying in China: to learn mathematics, physics and chemistry well, you are not afraid to travel all over the world. So, how can mathematics help us "travel around the world"? In the math class, Miss. Scarlett He took the G10 students to learn the concepts of grouped data and frequency diagram. In order to strengthen the students' understanding of these two concepts, Miss. He asked the students to analyze and apply the actual cases in life. For that, the students experienced the collection and collation of information, the expansion and exploration of knowledge, the perfect exercise of knowledge, the increase of contact with reality, and the stimulation of interest in learning. 

5、 从0到1，探究性学习初体验 From 0 to 1, First Experience of Inquiry Learning

在过去的一周，G10的同学们团结协作、小组作业，完成了关于太空经济的演讲呈现。在整个学习过程中，同学们需要通过网络查找文献资料、整合信息、应用相关理论并进行分析与审辨性思考。与此同时，同学们还需要在PPT制作、全英文阅读、写作与演讲的过程中考察与提升英语水平。这次独特的学习体验将为学生顺利进入下一阶段的学习，尤其是满足IBDP EE和IA的需求，做好准备。

In the past week, the G10 students worked in groups and completed a presentation on the space economy. In the whole learning process, students need to find literature through the network, integrate information, apply relevant theories, and conduct analysis and critical thinking. At the same time, students also need to examine and improve their English level in the process of PPT production, English reading, writing and speaking. This unique learning experiences will prepare students for the next stage of learning, especially to meet the needs of IBDP EE and IA.

6、 G11：暑假来临，校长有话叮嘱 Summer Vocation Comes, Principal Wants to Tell You

期末接近，11年级的同学们也即将开始正式面临申请和学业发展的问题。在与11年级的学生会议上，黄校长给同学们提出了宝贵的期末建议以及升学准备建议。副校长兼IB协调员王茹老师则与同学们分析了今年的IBDP和A-LEVEL全球考试的考试路径和非考试路径这两种评估方式给学生和学校带来的影响，学生应从哪些方面做准备做好高中最后一年的准备。同学们，暑假即将来临，在这重要阶段，请回顾一下自己目标院校的申请需求，充分利用好自己的暑假时间，准备起来吧。
