ECNUAK Toddler Curriculum

我们的托班课程为2-3岁孩子提供了探索、发现、快乐的成长之旅。托班幼儿的一日活动包括游戏、学习和生活三大板块,以激发和培养幼儿学习兴趣为主。在这里我们为孩子提供了浸润式的双语语言环境,丰富的主题活动,注重幼儿IB十大品质的培养,使孩子在语言、个人及社交等各个领域全面均衡发展,成为关爱、自信的优秀学习者/世界小公民,为幼儿在小班正式步入PYP探究式教学奠定基础。

Our Toddler curriculum provides a journey of exploration, discovery and happy growth for 2-3 year olds. Here we provide our children with a bilingual language environment and rich themed activities so that they can develop their language skills, personal abilities, and social skills and become caring and confident learners / citizens of the world.

幼儿时期是语言发展,特别是口语发展的重要时期。听是感知语言的表现,也是理解语言的途径,人类学习是通过语言实现的,我们想法是在一定的语境下通过语言来构建和重建的。

      在双语的环境中,我们同样重视英语和普通话的学习,为孩子提供充分的英文语言暴露。2—4岁是幼儿模仿能力最强的时期,在这个时期为孩子提供纯正的语音语调,可以为孩子的双语学习创造有利条件。中英文老师共同带班,为孩子提供丰富的语言环境和现代文化熏陶,孩子们学会倾听并能够逐步地用双语自信地表达自己。

Early childhood is an important period of language development, especially verbal development. Listening is the main way to understand language. Human learning is realized through language. Our ideas are constructed and reconstructed through language. In a bilingual environment, we pay attention to the learning of both English and Mandarin. Therefore, to provide children with sufficient English language exposure the Chinese and English teachers lead the class together to provide a rich language environment and exposure to both Chinese and Western culture. Children learn to listen and will gradually express themselves bilingually with confidence.

Personal、Social and Physical Education

托班孩子们在充满安全感和爱的环境中,认识自己与他人的不同,学会尊重他人,学习如何与同伴相处,并学会如何认识并管理的情感和行为,实现在身份认同、积极生活、互动交往中的启蒙发展。同时,我们注重幼儿体育领域的发展,由外籍老师教授体育课,并引导孩子养成健康的生活方式。


In an environment full of security and love, the toddlers learn to differentiate between themselves and others, to respect others, to get along with their peers, and to identify and manage their emotions and behaviors. This allows children to develop their identities and to interact with their peers. While developing children’s emotional wellbeing, we also pay attention to the children's physical development. A foreign teacher teaches physical education and guides the children to develop a healthy lifestyle.

在托班阶段的艺术领域,孩子们探索并使用各种材料及媒体,例如:感知不同乐器的声音、探索颜色之间的变化等。在这里孩子们可以自由的唱歌,跳舞,艺术等来表达自己的想法和感受,在Fashion show、新年音乐会等大活动中,孩子们能够充分展示自己。

For art, The toddlers explore and use various materials and media to do things such as: identifying the sounds of different instruments, exploring the changes between colors, etc. Here children can freely sing, dance, create art, etc. to express their ideas and feelings. Through the fashion show, New Year's concert and other major activities, children can fully express themselves.

随着认知及心理发展,幼儿开始认识并理解周围的世界,认识不同的地方、事物、材料以及生物,并逐渐理解他们之间的联系。我们会通过季节的变化等带孩子们探索校园的角落,观察与探究我们周围的人、环境等。


Through the development of cognition and other psychological milestones, children begin to know and understand the world around them, know different places, things, materials and creatures, and gradually understand the relationships between them. We will take the children to explore the grounds of the campus throughout the changes of the seasons and to observe and explore the people and the environment around us.

儿童是在与周围世界相互作用的过程中得到发展的,是在探索客观事物的过程中使智慧得到成长的。我们为托班孩子创设了一个温馨、有序、丰富、美观的教室环境,让孩子们感觉是有家的温暖的、安全的、受尊重的、具有适宜刺激的环境。老师关注了解托班儿童的需求,帮助他们进行多感官的交流,鼓励宝宝体验、交往和探究,在快乐中游戏,在游戏中学习。

We want our PreK classroom to feel like home for the children. We want the children to be exited to come to school and feel safe and comfortable while they are here. We created a fun, learning environment, where they can blossom and grow.
