在华师双语大家庭，有一群可爱的人儿：他们来自五湖四海，如今近在咫尺，他们有一个共同的名字：外教。

五年的时光，已经有超过16个国家、50余名外教加入华师双语，这里俨然是一个小小地球村。校园就是他们挥洒才华的乐土，安亭就是他们的第二个家园， 

今天的主角是三组来自幼儿园、小学、初中和高中部的外教家庭。来看看他们眼中的华师双语和安亭新镇吧！

        第一组： Robert & Shanoon & Adelaide & Flynn

第一组亮相的来自幼儿园部的Shanoon & Robert。他们分别在Pre-K和K2担任主班教师。Robert是幼儿园最受欢迎的“圣诞老人”，在圣诞义卖上每一个孩子都期盼着和圣诞老人合照，Robert会用温暖的大手环绕着孩子。Shanoon和Robert的一双儿女，Addy & Flynn也在华师双语的小学部和幼儿园学习。无论是音乐会、运动会还是校服周，都能看到姐弟俩活跃的身影。他们还在课余时间练习跆拳道、篮球、尝试烘培和皮革制作。作为大姐姐，Addy时常会帮着妈妈陪伴Pre-K的孩子们，在Fashion Show的时候她还担任了长颈鹿班的小小助教。Flynn在学校认识了很多好朋友，他们俩总是聚会中的开心果。

第二组： Matthieu & Christelle & Marin

第二组亮相的来自于艺术部的Matthieu和Christelle。艺术总监Matthieu有一个好听的中文名字：马秋。他是小学生们的孩子王，经常能看到孩子们上课前和马秋击掌，在课间簇拥着让马秋举高高转圈圈。Christelle是国际部视觉艺术教师，曾主办多次精彩绝伦的艺术展。他们的儿子马海（Marin）目前就读于华师双语幼儿园，“海”寓意上海，代表着他生在上海，长在安亭。广场上的孩子都熟悉这个金发碧眼的小男孩。他是一个小车迷，标配“脚踏自行车，手拿小汽车”。马海在这里认识了很多小伙伴，星巴克门前的广场上就是他和朋友们的派对中心。马海的一口普通话，比爸妈说的还溜呢。

“After our PhD in the China Academy of Art, my wife and I, had been contacted by The Headmistress Gloria Kong to join the school and proposed an ambitious Art program in ECNUAS. The very first time we arrived in Anting New Town, it was not very well developed as it is now. There were only few shops and streets were not busy at all. But we saw the potential of living in this quiet city to start our professional career and establish our home. 

在中国美院获得博士学位后，我和我的太太Christelle有幸被龚校长邀请加入到华师双语。当时，龚校长提出了要打造一个独一无二的、适合中国学生的艺术特色课程。当我们第一次来到安亭新城的时候，它还不像现在这样发达，只有几家商店，街道上也不热闹。但是，我们看到了背后蕴藏着的潜力。我们当时就下定决心，在这片土地开始我们的职业生涯，建立我们的家园。

While developing the Art department in ECNUAS, we also had the chance to have a baby in 2017, his name is Marin (马海) and he loves cars, which is very fortunate because we live in the Automobile city. Marin’s Chinese language is very good because he is one of our kindergarten students. Also he has a nanny who takes care of him after school. 

随着ECNUAS艺术部日趋成熟,我们也在2017年迎来了爱的结晶，他的名字叫Marin(马海)。马海从小喜欢汽车，而我们又住在了国际汽车城附近，这真是妙不可言的缘分。我非常自豪马海的中文表达很好，因为他是我们华师双语幼儿园的学生，他从小和中国的孩子一起长大。

This month our family will welcome a new baby and we are sure that Anting and ECNUAS are the best and safer place for them to grow happily. We hope this journey will continue as long as possible, all together.

这个月我们家庭将迎来一个新的宝宝，我们相信安亭和ECNUAS是他们快乐成长的乐土。我们希望和华师双语执爱同行，一路景行。”

第三组：Iryna and Michael,

第三组亮相的是初中部的Michael和幼儿园的Iryna。他们热爱中国文化，爱好旅游，中国的大江南北都留下了他们的足迹。

Q：你在教学中最自傲的一个瞬间是什么？

A：Michael: For me, the proudest moments are when I get to see my students using their English outside of the classroom. E.g. giving a speech during the flag-raising ceremonies or during a scene in the school performances. It’s a great extension that shows they’ve more than just memorized some vocabulary. 

Michael：最自豪的时候就是当我看到学生们在课堂之外娴熟地使用英语，比如，在升旗仪式上演讲，在学校庆典中表演。他们不只是记住了这些单词，而且很自如地使用这门语言，这让我格外欣慰。

Iryna: For me there aren’t any particular proud stories. I just love watching the kids to grow and become amazing human beings. I’m proud that I can contribute to their lives and help them to become their best versions of themselves. 

Iryna：我一下子想不起来最引以为豪的故事。不过，我非常享受陪伴孩子们长大的每时每刻，他们不断给我惊喜。我非常骄傲我能够推动他们的成长，助力学生成为“最好的自己”。

Q：what do you think of the staff team?

Q：工作中你遇到了哪些可爱的人？

A：Iryna: I love working with my co-teacher Joyce. We are good friends. I also like working with the K2 team. They are really good people and very professional. I’ve learned a lot from them.

Iryna: 我喜欢和我的搭班中教Joyce一起工作。我们成为了很好的朋友。我也很喜欢和中班的教师团队。他们又专业，人品又好。我从他们身上学到了很多。

Q. What is your favorite part of Anting?

Q：安亭最吸引你的是哪一点？

A：Michael: I love living in Anting. We moved here right after our wedding, so I can say that Anting is our first family nest. It is so peaceful here. Ira and I like cycling along the river and having breakfasts in our backyard. We are friends with many teachers from our school, so it it’s always fun to meet them after work. We also like Shanghai’s weather; we lived in Guangdong for a year and the weather was just too hot to do anything. 

A：Michael: 安亭是一个非常宜居的小镇。我们结婚后就搬到这里来了，所以说安亭是我们的第一个爱巢。这里是如此的宁静，Ira和我喜欢沿着河边骑车，在公寓的后院吃早餐。我们和学校里的许多老师都是朋友，下班之后我们常常在一起活动。另外，我们也喜欢上海的天气， 在此之前我们在广东住了一年，那儿的天气太热了。

Q：What is your favorite part of Chinese culture?

Q：中国文化中最让你向往的是哪一点？

A：Iryna: I came to China as an international student to learn Chinese and Chinese culture. At school I’ve learned a lot from my teachers and classmates about local ways of making friends, doing business, and day-to-day communication. I also participated in 汉语桥 in 2014 when I passed HSK 4. During that time, I was reading a lot of books about Chinese history and culture. The tea culture in China is fascinating! I haven’t learned the proper way to make tea yet, but I would really like to when I get a chance. 

A：Iryna: 我和中国的缘分由来已久。当年，我作为一名国际学生前来学习中国文化。我的老师和同学教会了我如何像当地人那样生活、做生意和打交道。之后，我通过了汉语水平4级考试，还在2014年参加了汉语桥。在那段美好的日子，我对中国的历史和文化产生了浓厚的兴趣，阅读了大量书籍。我觉得中国的茶文化棒极了，我期待着有机会进一步研习茶道。
