       从12月3日到12月7日,我校举办的以“发现”为主题的阅读周活动已经落下帷幕。本次读书活动以学校为主阵地,以教师、家长、学生为主体,我们进行了许多努力,开展了许多活动, 将图书展览与趣味活动,艺术设计与游戏竞赛相结合,以每日一主题的形式开展,使得越来越多的孩子更深刻地认识到了读书的重要性,体会到读书的快乐与幸福。

The book week with a theme of “discovery” from Dec. 3 to Dec. 7 has come to an end at ECNUAS. School-based and combined with various activities, this book week attracts teachers, parents and students. In this process, students realize the importance of reading.

       “领养书宝宝”和“快闪诵读”是每天都会进行的活动。“领养书宝宝”旨在培养孩子养成爱护书籍的好习惯。每天一下课,图书馆就变得热闹起来,一批批可爱的孩子们就纷纷涌入图书馆,领取破损书籍,之后小心翼翼地认真修补,真的是像对待一个小baby呢!如果在小朋友正上课的时候,突然闯进来一个人,或带面具,或着装扮,或手持道具,为孩子们认真地讲一个故事或者深情地朗诵一首小诗,然后迅速撤离,这个就是我们神秘的“快闪诵读者”了!

The daily activities are “adopting book babies” and “flash reading”. The library would have an influx of students come in to pick the damaged books and repair them. What's more, flash readers would go into a classroom with costumes and props to read a short story, bringing students exciting surprises.

Day1主题是“海洋”。

       选择参加海洋主题的学生需要自己设计一顶带有海洋元素的帽子。前期学生通过搜索与海洋相关书籍,用铅笔打底,彩笔描绘,添加海洋元素,最后着色,设计出了专属于自己的海洋Hat。通过评比,每个班级选出“最佳海洋Hat”。另外,在我们的未来教室里,巨幕上展示着美丽的海底世界,摆放着各种各样的海洋书籍。一面巨大的心愿墙映入眼帘,孩子们可以把想知道的海洋知识和自己的小心愿用便利贴贴在心愿墙上。“我想保护海洋,保护鱼儿。”“大海里面,最凶的动物是什么?”“我希望大海不要被污染。”一张张小小便利帖,一个个小小心愿,一句句短短文字,虽稚嫩但却简单美好。

The theme for Monday is Ocean. Students who pick this theme have to design a hat with ocean elements on it. The best-designed hat is picked from each class. All kinds of books on ocean and a beautiful underwater world are displayed in the future classroom. Students can also write down the ocean knowledge they want to know and their wishes for the ocean on the wish wall. Sticky notes reading “I want to protect the ocean and the fishes”, “What is the scariest animal under the ocean?”, “I don’t want pollutions in the ocean”, etc. can be seen on the wish wall.

Day2主题是“恐龙”。

       今天的图书周活动在图书馆进行,将图书阅读与知识竞赛相结合,围绕“恐龙知识我知道”展开。小朋友们对照着展示墙上的各种各样的恐龙图片,在图书馆中找到这只恐龙的相关图书,把恐龙知识贴在便签纸上,从书中摘出和恐龙有关的知识点,然后把便签条贴在相应的恐龙图片上就可以得到一个小礼品。孩子们的参与度非常高,小小的身影在图书馆中来回穿梭,认真地写着一个个知识点。

The theme for Tuesday is Dinosaurs. Most of the activities happen in the library. Students are asked to match the dinosaur pictures on the wall with a book on this particular dinosaur, write down what they know about the dinosaur on a post-it note and stick it under the right dinosaur picture. Students are fully engaged and motivated in the process, aiming to achieve the prize in the end.

Day3主题是“太空”。

       选择参加太空主题的学生需要自己设计一件和太空有关的T恤。每一个孩子心中都拥有一个奇思妙想的世界,小朋友们开动脑筋,或描绘宇宙行星,或点缀璀璨星空,或添加飞船火箭,创造了一个属于自己的太空。另外,在大剧院我们迎来了荷兰出版社的老师为小朋友带来妙趣横生的绘本故事,用小猫的视角带领孩子们一起走进神秘的太空世界。孩子的思维随着动听的故事在不同的星座和各种星球中探索遨游。

The theme for Wednesday is Space. Students who pick this theme have to design a t-shirt on space. Every student has their own magic world and they create a fantastic space on their t-shirts. Apart from this, a lecture on space is held in the theater at noon, taking students on a journey among different planets and zodiac signs.

Day4主题是“坏蛋通缉令”。

       四年级的小朋友通过图书阅读,选出自己喜欢的书中反派角色,制作了精美而富有创意的“坏蛋通缉令”。而其他小朋友需要根据“坏蛋通缉令”上提供的线索去图书馆找到这个“大坏蛋”究竟出自哪本书,交给图书馆老师后就可以得到一个小礼物。同学们一下课就涌进了图书馆,有的同学单枪匹马,独自作战;有的同学小组合作,共同寻找;有的同学向图书馆老师寻求帮助……一个个小小的身影在图书馆中来回穿梭,孩子们沉浸在书的海洋里。此次活动不仅增加了学生的阅读兴趣,也让学生更加了解图书馆内的图书分布。

The theme for Thursday is “Catching bad guys”. Grade four students make the creative “bad guys wanted” posters based on the books they read so that students from other grades can seize the bad guy with the help of clues and notes on the posters. If they can locate the bad guy in the right book, they can get a prize. This activity helps students know better where the books are in the library.

Day5主题是“角色大游行”。

       在狂欢之前我们有一个独具特色的小活动,那就是“二手书交换集市”。小朋友捐出自己的二手书,就会得到相应数量的换书券。利用自己的换书券去交换心仪的书。当看到小朋友兴冲冲地跑过来告诉我,他换到了最喜欢类型的书时,那种激动应该就是此次活动最大的意义。盛大的狂欢party开始了,大剧院顿时热闹起来,所有着各色服装的小朋友聚集在一起。老师们也准备了热场小节目,“猪八戒吃西瓜”让孩子们笑得前仰后合;外教讲故事让现场呐喊声不断。台上高潮迭起,台下热情似火。最后迎来了我们的“角色大游行”,小朋友身着盛装,依次登台介绍自己扮演的书中角色。

The theme for Friday is Character Parade. At noon, a second-hand book exchanging activity is held in the hall on the first floor. Students donate their own books and get book vouchers, with which they can get other students’ books. In the afternoon, the reading week show finally draws its curtain. Students in their various costumes all step up on the stage and introduce the characters they play in the books.

       读书周通过丰富多彩的活动,使孩子们多纬度、全方位地浸泡书香,感受读书氛围。虽然读书周活动结束了,但孩子们的阅读才刚刚开始。我们期待华师双语的孩子们能更主动地读书,在读书中孕育文化气质,让读书成为我们的习惯。

This time, students fully experience the beauty of reading with the various activities. Though it has concluded, we believe that students will become active readers and take up reading as a habit in the future.
