1、 全国青少年科技创新大赛 China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Contest

本周华双K-12 STEAM课程组组长沈老师就全国青少年创新大赛对同学们进行了介绍。该竞赛是一项具有30年历史的全国性青少年科技创新成果和科学探究项目的综合性科技竞赛，是面向在校中小学生开展的具有示范性和导向性的科技教育活动之一，是我国中小学各类科技活动优秀成果集中展示的一种形式。沈老师向同学们详细介绍了此竞赛的项目，参赛要求，鼓励学有余力的同学们积极参与，挑战自我。

This week, Mr. Bob Shen, the leader of K-12 STEAM program in ECNUAS, introduced to the students the China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Contest. The competition is a comprehensive science and technology competition with a 30-year history of National Youth Scientific and technological innovation achievements and scientific exploration projects. It is one of the demonstrative and science and technology oriented education activities for primary and secondary school students. It is a form of centralized demonstration of excellent achievements in various science and technology activities in primary and secondary schools in China. Mr. Bob introduced to the students the items and requirements of the competition in details, and encouraged the students to actively participate and challenge themselves.

2、 模考进行中 Ongoing Mock Exam

本周，几个年级的模考正式开始，包括10年级的IGCSE，11年级的AS和12年级的IBDP和A-Level。各个年级的同学们认真备考，以饱满自信的姿态面对考试。值此之际，也感谢家长、同学、老师们的无间配合，使的考试能顺利进行。清明后，模考将继续，此次清明假中，同学们也要仔细备考，调试各类设备软件，为节后的考试做足准备。

This week, Mock Exams in the high school officially began. The Mock Exams include IGCSE of Grade 10，AS of Grade 11, and IBDP and A-Level of Grade 12. Students of all grades carefully prepared for the exams and faced them with full confidence. On this occasion, thanks to parents, students and teachers for their continuous cooperation so that the Mock exams can be carried out smoothly. After the Tomb Sweeping Day, the Mock Exams will continue. During this Tomb Sweeping Day holiday, students should also carefully prepare for the exams, check and adjust all kinds of equipment and software, and make full preparations for the exams after the festival.

3、 学生在线艺术作品创作 Online Art Works Creation

线上的艺术课是什么形式呢？艺术老师们创新出了各类有意思的线上创作形式。1分钟快速绘画，丙烯颜料绘画，智联互动；老师们如此给力的调整课程方式，我们学生也奇思妙想频出，纸笔、平板、数位板......来一起欣赏一下他们的作品吧。

What is the form of online art classes? Art teachers have created all kinds of interesting online creative forms, for example, 1 minute quick painting, acrylic paint painting, digital interaction. The teachers are so adept at adjusting the way of teaching; our students also put forward creative ideas using pen and paper, tablet, digital board...... Let's enjoy their works together!

4、 运动健身打卡 Sports & Fitness Activities

线上学习，学生们难免长时间坐于电脑前，缺乏身体的锻炼。特别是与孩子一起被封闭管理的家长们一定为此感到困扰。鉴于此等情况，在班主任张老师的号召下，10年级的同学们、部分老师们自动参与了一个名为“麻薯计划”的健身活动，发动家长和学生们一起参与，坚持锻炼，学习健康两不误。

During online learning, students inevitably sit in front of the computer for a long time and lack physical exercises. The parents who are experiencing lock down with their children inevitably encounter this trouble. In view of this situation, at the call of Homeroom Teacher Ms. Zhang, the students, their parents and some teachers in Grade 10 actively participated in a fitness activity called "Mashu Plan" . It is great to see parents and students are both mobilized to participate in the activity together. Students take care of their body health while keeping up study.

5、 家长课堂—留学美国基础知识概述 Parents’ Academy - Basic Information About Studying in USA

本周，第二期的升学指导家长课堂开课了。美国方向指导老师续老师从申请准备、申请流程、学校选择、专业选择、专业区别等方面向家长们分析了留学美国的基础知识，在答疑环节，家长们就夏校、语言成绩备考、不同国家申请区别提出了疑问，两位老师也专业的进行了解答。

This week, the second Parents’ Academy about College Application took place online. The Counselor for American Universities analyzed the basic knowledge of studying in the United States from the aspects of application preparation, application process, school selection, major selection and major differences. In the Q&A session, the parents raised questions about summer school, language score preparation and application differences in different countries, and the two counselors answered professionally using their expertise.

6、 华师双语云端音乐会 ECNUAS Online Music Concert

4月2日晚7点，华师双语音乐会与封闭在家的大家们云上相遇。疫情期间，高中部泡泡糖舞蹈社、金钥匙乐团的同学们也不忘基本功训练，日日排练，最后在4月2日给了大家绝佳的视觉与听觉的盛宴。

At 7 p.m. on April 2, the ECNUAS Online Music Concert met with everyone closed at home. During the epidemic period, the students of Bubble Gum Dance Crew and Golden Key Orchestra in high school keep practicing basic skills. They rehearsed every day and offered an excellent visual and auditory feast to the audience.

7、 G12学生会议 G12 Students Meeting

转眼四月已至，IBDP和A-Level大考渐渐逼近。在此封闭情况下，不确定因素很多，高中部的校长们与12年级的班主任线上相聚，缓解同学们现在对于考试不确定性的忧虑，同时将IBO与CAIE考试局的官方信息详细告知同学们，具体的考试形式学校作为考试中心，一直与考试局保持密切的联系，请所有同学们不要焦虑，一旦收到信息，学校会第一时间告知大家。

April has arrived, and the IBDP and A-level Global exams are approaching. Under the circumstance of COVID lockdown, there are many uncertainties. The Principals of high school and G12 Homeroom Teachers met G12 students online to alleviate the students' worries about the uncertainty of the examination. At the same time, they informed the students with details of the official information of the IB and the CAIE. Our school, as the examination centers of both, has always maintained close contact with the two organizations. Please don't worry about it. Upon receiving the information, the school will inform students right away.

8、 全民抗疫 争做志愿者 Volunteer Service

在这特殊时期，G11X的张明洋同学向家人、社区主动请缨参与成为社区志愿者，早上六点去居委准备做小区志愿者，等到下午两点，小区所有人测完核酸才能离开岗位。八个小时，不吃不喝，坚守岗位，为全民抗疫贡献出自己的力量。

During this special period, Ocean Zhang of G11X volunteered to become a community volunteer after geeting approval from his parents and community. He went to neighborhood committee to be a community volunteer at 6 a.m. and waited until 2 p.m. when all residents of the community had tested the nucleic acid. Eight hours, no food or drink, stick to the posts and contribute his own strength to the national epidemic prevention.
